When Lola was guided to name her book Things Are Going Great In My Absence: How To Let Go And Let The Divine Do The Heavy Lifting her first comment to The Presence was, "That is a L-O-N-G title!" But now she now finds it humorous that the long title turned out to be prophetic in many, many ways. Reading Lola's book has completely liberated many people around the world "in her absence."

While she lives a relatively low-key, normal, behind the scenes life (as she prefers to do) the book, the online courses, the audios and videos carry enlightenment, happiness, and freedom to the world "in her absence".

Lola has no plans to tour a lot or gather a following. She's not ambitious in that sense. Her intention is to help people go within rather than keep coming back to her. It's a sign of the very practical effectiveness of Divine Openings that people do not continue to need a lot of help. They do like to visit this website to stay in touch with this "reality of choice", since the world offers so much distraction that is not helpful or supportive of their newly chosen reality.

How to be initiated to be a Divine Openings Guide.

You will not become dependent on Lola or any Divine Openings Giver. Their goal is to empower you, set you free, and help you become inner guided as quickly as you are willing to be. Once you get well into the spiritual awakening process, stabilize, get the bliss body lit up, and learn how to use your conscious mind and Free Will to keep choosing it, you are permanently liberated. The power is then yours, and seeking is over.

Divine Openings is compatible with any religion, or no religion, because you will come to more intimately know your own God, rather than taking on outside dogma. If you are Christian, you know that Jesus initiated enlightenment by touch, gaze, or intention, but it was just called something else in the various traditions that followed - being saved, the descending of the Holy Spirit, or rapture. God doesn't care what you call it.

What happens is beyond human comprehension. In the Eastern traditions, they sometimes call the direct infusions of Grace, illumination, and healing from certain teachers "darshan". Divine Openings is much more than that, though, and has much more practical effects in your real life.

We sometimes say Certified Divine Openings Guides are conduits, but more accurately, being in their presence creates a vortex so strong it "ignites" the light bodies of others in their presence. Words fail to express what actually happens, and it's best to come to it free of concepts.

She invites people to give all that up and make a clear commitment to Divine Openings. She says, "Why give this treasure to people who won't commit, and who will muddy it up by mixing it with all that other stuff? That's a waste of my time and energy and their money."

She advises making a strong commitment to drop everything, forget everything you ever knew, and stick to Divine Openings for one year. Mixing modalities can stop or dilute your results. Continuing to seek cancels the effects, because that's saying you're not "there".

Many people have had spontaneous spiritual awakenings naturally or by effort on other paths, but had difficulty sustaining it. Lola commited herself to creating a support system that would help people get themselves out of the way, sustain it, and continue to go higher rather than dropping back down. We whimsically call it getting on the "automatic upgrade program".

How did Lola come to do what she does?
Lola taught spiritual development (and corporate training with spiritual underpinnings) for decades. She always had a natural ability to wake people up and catalyze breakthroughs. She has an eternal lineage as a 'pioneer', one who opens new territory and expands consciousness. In 1985 she received her first initiation with a master and meditated in that tradition for an hour a day for eleven years.

Lola's lineage is more vast than this life. Someone recently identified seven great lineages in her energy field, but she really doesn't care about that. Her power is NOW.

Ten years ago she was regularly teaching a 3 1/2 day intensive called The Power Course that students still credit with transforming their lives. But the full flowering of her lineage quickened in about 2003. She stopped teaching and working and dived deep within. For a couple of years she painted full time, telling friends, "I'm so tired of words! I don't want to talk at all! I'll never teach again unless something comes along that works completely beyond the limitations of words." That wish would be fulfilled.

While the paintings that came were light years beyond any art she'd ever done before, she had no idea just how big the purpose of these paintings would be. Following this sudden urge to paint would within two years lead to a development in her teaching that was beyond her wildest imaginatings.

After those two years of painting and being carefree, she had strong guidance to go into silent retreat in a remote compound in India. After 21 days in delicious silence, speaking to no other human, communing only with The Pure Presence Within, she was initiated into a new level of power. It activated her entire lineage of many lifetimes of being a consciousness pioneer. She entered Heaven on Earth.

Lola returned home with a powerful new gift. Starting all over again with no clients, no income, no base--from absolute zero, within a year she had given Divine Openings hands on, way back before this website, to 700 people. A woman with a worldwide email list of a million people was guided to introduce Lola to the world, and today, the work spans the globe.

Although old concepts of ambition and goals are now meaningless to her (she has neither), the work "drives itself". She has become an indefatiguable writer, artist, and expert in many fields, quite effortlessly.

 

Of course Lola and Divine Openings both continue to evolve. The Divine Energy increases in power, as Lola just follows the lead of The Presence. She has no master plan, and often doesn't know what she'll be doing two months from now. She gets out of the way and does what she is guided to do on any given day.

Some people need only a few Divine Openings to experience spiritual awakening, and they've gone happily on about their lives. Most people need more Divine Openings, or require more training in how to get out of the way and use their free will choices to sustain the bliss instead of resist it. So Lola developed a program to support them in the process, and help them stabilize at the new higher level. Lola had known many who had reached a temporary state of bliss and oneness before, and lost it. She was determined to find a way to sustain it.

When Lola heard the experiences of people who read her book, she was actually amazed to find out how powerful an effect it was having on them. The title of the book became a miraculous self-fulfilling prophecy. Equally amazing, the Online Self-Paced Course gave results that are for some almost as powerful a live Divine Openings Course. While Lola is deeply grateful to the teachers who helped her activate her ancient lineage, she was guided to go another way and not stay with their path. She was not comfortable with giving any power to any guru or teacher, nor does she want anyone to give their power to her. She is totally committed to showing people their own inner, direct connection, help them reclaim their own power, and set them free.

She created Divine Openings to be truly universal -- for anyone of any faith -- or no faith or religion at all. It's just you and your Creator, The Life Force, the Organizing Intelligence ...whatever you choose to call it. She is happy to offer guidance, community, and inspiration for as long as and whenever anyone wants it, but she wants everyone who does Divine Openings to become spiritually self-empowered.

Lola initiates people to give Divine Openings. Some use it in their ordinary roles in life, like chef, musician, electrician, consultant, manager, truck driver, or businessperson. Others give it formally in courses and sessions. Some do it as world service.

Lola's passion is to bring in new energies to the planet, assimilate them, ground them in the physical plane, and make them assimilable for others. Doing ranch chores, mowing with her tractor, fixing fences, playing with animals, trimming trees on her ten acres, working out, going out dancing ... these simple pleasures are some of her greatest joys, aside from doing this work. Lola believes that to create Heaven on Earth, people must get very grounded, embrace and master their emotions, and get fully in their bodies, rather than floating off into spiritual states.
