The Olympics - watching it all
Hi everyone
I've watched more of the Olympics this year than I ever have done. I'm not a particularly sporty type of person but have found the whole presentation and energy of the spectacle quite magical.
Chatting with Sue on the phone last night we both agreed how 'heart opening' it is, and how much we are getting from it. Our hearts open to the winners, the one's who didn't complete and those that did and did their best.
Today, chatting to my husband I said something about watching the energy of the athletes and he said 'please explain'. This is what came out (I know what I 'see' but hadn't formed it into words before).
It seems to me (particularly watching the running), that the athletes that get ahead are almost being 'pulled' (like being reeled in). They open up their chests and expressions and seem to fly along (it looks fun, I jokingly call them 'running on legs'). The other atheletes seem to be more tense and tight and push themselves and it looks quite painful and hard.
Maybe those who do relax into it simply 'let go and let their Large Self do the pulling'. They probably expect to succeed and are just joining the party with their Large Self at the winning line. We're all winners aren't we? Are we allowing ourselves to be helpfully 'pulled' or 'pushing ourselves', our choice isn't it?

This is so fabulous! I myself

Dear Marion,
What a fabulous way to illustrate how we can let go and let the Divine do it for us!
What I have been taking away from watching the Olympics is that the athletes are following their dream. They have to be completely intent with their focus, and push on no matter what. Some of them overcome amazing challenges, and even though they might not make it to the gold, they made it to the top competition in the land.
What is my dream? I know it's connected to feeling good, and that might manifest in many different ways. Sometimes unexpected things come my way, and am I open to that opportunity that I didn't exactly foresee, but it feels good? Taking that leap of faith is like when you hear the gun going off at the starting line, just leaping forward into the unknown. We can let the Divine lead the way.
Love and blessings to all of us,
Grace
